Hello Member,

August has been quite a month for our chapter. We are proud to announce a partnership with Front Range Community College which provides volunteering opportunities and an overhaul of our website. To stay up-to-date with news, events, and CPE opportunities, be sure to connect to us through our various social media platforms!

Volunteering Opportunity

We are excited to announce a partnership with Front Range Community College. By working together, we can help bring more cybersecurity professionals into the field, increase the awareness of ISC2 to new prospects, and strengthen the academic programs to best prepare the students for the challenges and demands in the field. These opportunities also qualify for CPEs, making them a great way to contribute to the community and keep your certifications up-to-date.

Some of the specific expertise that Front Range is looking for includes:

• Help identifying in-demand cyber security positions
• Assistance creating/updating reference materials and industry trends
• Identifying common and emerging tools and resources
• Professional networking for students, potential internship or other job-related leads
• Exploration of ISC2 entry level certification for students post-school
• Advice and expertise on institutional cybersecurity issues

Certification Study Groups

Study Groups are a great way to prepare for certification testing, meet peers in the field, or stay fresh on a given topic. We utilize Discord as our Study Group hub. If there is a Study Group you would like to see, become a Chapter Member and start it today!

We have redesigned the chapter website in an effort to make it easier to navigate and have the most useful information accessible quickly. Please let us know if you have any suggestions or feedback to help improve your experience and best suit our member's needs.
